COUNTRY-FRIED STEAK
1 tablespoon granulated garlic Mix garlic, flour, salt and black pepper in a plastic bag and shake to combine. Pour onto a plate. Heat oil in a cast-iron skillet over medium heat. Make sure the oil just barely covers the bottom of the skillet. Dredge the steaks in the flour mixture and fry in skillet until browned on both sides, about 5 minutes per side, depending on desired doneness. Placed cooked steaks on a drain rack or brown paper bag to drain. Serve immediately with Chicken Gravy. |
